Access takes lots with COI’s Agency Framework

  —   22 May 2011   —   Access News

Access has been successfully appointed onto the Central Office of Information's (COI) Regional Integrated Agency Framework, winning contracts to supply core services in not one but two Lots; the North West of England and Wales.

Access is one of nine agencies selected to join COI's roster of agencies in the North West, and one of seven for Wales. All the agencies appointed had to be capable of providing a range of core services including advertising, direct marketing, design/branding, digital and PR, as well as offering consultancy and support across a broad mix of Events; Research, Sponsorship and Experiential Marketing. The framework agreement commenced on Monday 27th April, and is in place for the next four years.

Simon Landi, Managing Director of Access comments on the appointment: "This new framework will benefit everyone involved as it will ensure COI selects the right agency for the job, because they know each of the agencies on the list have already proven themselves in terms of experience and ability to deliver creatively. And it helps us to focus on the job in hand; providing first class creative solutions that help to change public opinion and improve quality of life.

"This successful appointment follows a string of public sector projects recently completed by Access.

We already have a strong working relationship with many public sector organisations including Visit Peak District and Derbyshire and Visit Chester and Cheshire, and the main focus of our recent work has been the delivery of many high profile social marketing projects, this framework appointment will reinforce our credentials in this arena and I look forward to what the next four years will bring."

The new framework has been divided into lots to meet the requirements of the 2006 Public Contract Regulations that insist all suppliers "capable of performing the proposed contract" are invited to compete for each piece of business.

The lots are designed to geographically cover the UK and, as far as possible, reflect the boundaries of the Government Office regions and devolved nations.
