Welsh Government Real Radio Campaign

Access has launched its latest campaign for the Welsh Government (WG), aimed at raising awareness of the services available to business start-ups and entrepreneurs across Wales.

Working with the Department of Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science (BETS), Access created a fully integrated campaign centred on a series of innovative radio advertorials aimed at providing advice to entrepreneurs, as well as promoting the services that BETS can provide to them. The advertorials, currently running on Real Radio Wales during the peak drive-time listening hours will run for a four week period, with strong emphasis placed on the ’real entrepreneurs’ experience.

It is estimated that around half Wales’ population have thought about or would like to set up their own business. Despite some believing that the current economic climate is not conducive to starting a business, the world leading level of support that BETS provides means that there has never been a better time to start a business in Wales. It became clear that breaking down these misconceptions would have to be the key focus of the campaign, by showcasing people already running successful organisations in Wales.

Simon Landi, Managing Director said: “This campaign highlights the level of innovation and ingenuity that Access has consistently brought to public sector campaigns, providing excellent value for money at a time where this is becoming increasingly important across the sector.”
