Access has been nominated in the DADI awards for its work with Variety, The Children’s Charity. The digital specialist designed and developed a new website that has dramatically increased awareness and on-line fundraising in support of the charity’s goal of helping sick, disabled or disadvantaged children.

Drupal sits at the heart of the website, which is nominated in the ‘Not-for-Profit/Charity Website, App or Campaign’ category. The versatile and future-proofed platform integrates with several third party systems to create a publishing hub that drives the charity’s online strategy. Access facilitated user-generated content to allow Variety to minimise costs while building greater social presence and driving interest in mass participation events.

Crucially, the website includes a donation system and ecommerce platform which helps the charity convert visitor engagement into revenue. From a visual perspective, specially commissioned bespoke illustrations communicate the Variety’s unique story and mission, and provide standout in a crowded charity space – reinforcing the charity’s core message of ‘improving young lives every day’.

The DADI judges were suitably impressed with the results. Within six months of launch, the site delivered a 28% increase in organic traffic and 50% increase in social referrals. Traffic to the online shop has increased by 18% and continues to support healthy sales.

Access is one of the North West’s premier digital marketing agencies, with household names like BAFTA among its recent high profile client wins. A member of the Government backed GrowthAccelerator initiative, the Drupal specialist is currently enjoying double digit growth year on year.

The Dadi awards will take place on 1st October at the Park Plaza, Westminster, London. To see Access’s nomination, visit: http://www.dadiawards.com/nominations/247
