Manchester agency Access has won The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) brief to promote the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as a major London destination.
The Park re-opened in 2014 two years after the memorable 2012 Olympic Games, and is now a destination in itself, with many new attractions added to the stunning venues used during the London Games.
Access’ challenge was to develop the creative for a major destination marketing campaign across outdoor formats throughout London and other major conurbations across the UK.
Laura Parker, Senior Marketing Manager at the London Legacy Development Corporation said: “Access showed a level of insight and creativity unrivalled in the tender process and understood how to engage our target audience with the wonderful parklands, assets and attractions that make up Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.”
Access’ campaign showcases the activities, attractions and events that feature in the Park, drawing on the unforgettable successes of the 2012 Games.
Simon Landi, MD at Access, was delighted with the opportunity to work on the project. “The 2012 Olympics gave the nation a huge sense of pride and excitement - winning this project gave us that feeling all over again”, he commented.
The campaign has launched on the London Underground, London Buses and in major cities across the UK.
