Taking on the Great Manchester Run in aid of 42nd Street

Running. It can either give you a sense of freedom as you take on the streets of your local surroundings, or it can bring a sense of dread. Alternatively, it can give you a sense of achievement, especially if you’re doing it all for a good cause. That’s why, on the 22nd May, our team will be participating in the Great Manchester Run, raising money for our nominated charity, 42nd Street.

The Manchester-based charity 42nd Street is responsible for the support and care of young people aged between 11 and 25 who need support with their mental health and emotional wellbeing. Our relationship with the charity ranges from lending our digital expertise, to helping them raise funds so they can provide support to more young people around Manchester, Trafford, Salford, Tameside and Glossop.

Having completed the Great Manchester Run last year and raising a huge £2,166.21 for 42nd Street, we decided that we’d take on the challenge again in 2016! Preparation has begun, as has training for some of us; and we’re ready to try and smash our target from last year.
