BODY WORLDS update statement

Ruth Nelson   —   22 May 2011   —   Access News

Access would like to reiterate our commitment to our client, the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) and the current BODY WORLDS exhibition which is receiving a great deal of press coverage at the moment. We have worked closely with MOSI for a number of years and as a business, we were delighted to be given the opportunity to work on such a high profile campaign as BODY WORLDS, on the museum’s behalf.

Our role has been to provide MOSI with stimulus to encourage the general public to make up their own minds about the work of Dr. Gunther von Hagens and the BODY WORLDS 4 exhibition, currently showing to sell-out crowds at MOSI.

Added to which, our desire to help Manchester achieve its status as a truly global city, can only be enhanced by the attraction of such acclaimed exhibitions.

All of our clients are valued and receive the professional and committed service you’d expect from a creative-led agency, and whilst the work we produce is not always to everyone’s taste – for instance some of the community work we do for Greater Manchester Police - it is intended to be thought-provoking and accurate.

And on a personal note, I think it is undeniable that the exhibition is educational. The museum has hosted a number of events for Manchester’s medical community and I think it’s fantastic that the people of Manchester have been given the opportunity to have this unique insight into the human body. The exhibition addresses such issues as the impact of smoking, alcohol and obesity on the body – topics widely quoted as the downfall of today’s society.
