DrupalCampNW2012 took place this November at MediaCityUK, Salford Quays, and once again Access was involved in the event, providing sponsorship and support for the volunteers who helped to make the event possible.
With over 150 delegates, travelling from across Europe and the UK, DrupalCampNW offered users, non-users and business users of Drupal an opportunity to meet and discuss issues in both conference and less formal non-conference environment. A number of Drupal camps have already taken place this year, with previous host cities including Oxford, Cambridge and Brighton.
The event also offered non-users a great opportunity to meet experts and to gain insight from them through face-to-face contact, as well as providing an excellent opportunity for current users to network and socialise outside of the camp.
Mark Hope, Digital Director at Access who attended the event said: “We are very pleased to have been involved in sponsoring Drupalcamp NW2012, and are delighted with the feedback that we have had, particularly on Twitter and from the Drupal blogging community that attended the event.
“It is important that we have events like this to allow people to share their knowledge and expertise with other users and to ensure that interest in the products and services we offer continues to grow. We have now sponsored a number of these events and we are proud to do so as we believe the opportunities they present to both ourselves and the wider Drupal using business world are invaluable.”
