My Favourite App - Sarah Parker

Horse going down snowy hillHaving read through many of the entries into our 'My Favourite App' blog series, I figured that I would add a quick post. After all, if it happens to be the last post before the deadline I'll be fresher in the judges minds and thus have a better chance of scooping the prize. I hate to fit in with the typical British stereotype but my favourite app is WeatherProHD.

WeatherProHD

It gives up to date 7 day weather forecasting for anywhere around the world. Allowing you to compare at a glance, just how bad Manchester's weather is!

The app gives you percentages of the likelihood of rain and when it is expected so that you can fairly guarantee when it should have passed. Besides the usual temperature, hours of sunlight, humidity and amount of rain, it tells me wind speed and direction. Which I am already worrying about as it is due to reach 35mph this Sunday lunchtime!

For me it is essential to know what the weather is going to do, well in advance. As there is nothing worse than watching the storm clouds roll by from the 8th floor of Trafford House knowing that my poor horses are being frozen to death 25 miles away at home.
